The Ventspils Grain Terminal has gained a new two-section warehouse, as well as a new cargo handling facility that is able of serving both sea and land transports.
The 5,500 m2 big warehouse can store up to 30,000 tn of various agro products. Thanks to the investment, the terminal's total storage capacity has been increased to 100,000 tn.
The 1.5 mln tn of yearly freight turnover capacity Ventspils Grain Terminal can handle Panamax ships (up to 280 m long with a draft of 14.5 m) at a 1,000 tn/hr rate.
