In total, the Portuguese seaport made over 13.55 mln tn over this year’s first quarter, advancing by 19.6% year-on-year.
The turnover of general cargo rose the most – by 53.0% yoy up to 6,405.0 thou. tn. The throughput of liquids increased as well – by 4.9% yoy to 5,640.0 thou. tn.
On the other hand, handlings of dry bulk contracted by 14.9% yoy down to 1,505.0 thou. tn.
