VAHLE's project in Mexico finished

The German company completed the electrification of the intermodal area at the Lázaro Cárdenas Terminal Portuaria de Contenedores (LCTPC).

VAHLE was already chosen to electrify 10 of the terminal's container back in 2011. At this time the company has supplied eight automatic systems to Chinese ZPMC for LCTPC's new eRTGs.

Up until now, LCTPC has 26 container blocks electrified with 5.512 m conductor rails, and 16 new eRTG from ZPMC. Furthermore, VAHLE has e-converted three conventional RTGs last year as turn-key project, and more will follow.
