With nearly 25.94 mln tn (+5.0% year-on-year) made over the course of 2017's first quarter, exports accounted for the bulk of goods handled at Ukraine's ports.
At the same time, imports totalled 4.37 mln tn (-0.6% yoy), transits 2.22 mln tn (-18.3% yoy), while domestic traffic added 180 thou. tn (+81.2% yoy).
Container throughput rose by 7.4% yoy to 150,615 TEU.
