The DIONYSUS project is based on the results of the DAPhNE project, completed in December 2018 (of which CN APM SA Constanta was also part), the current project further developing its results.

The main objective of DIONYSUS is to transform the Danube ports into high-performance, better connected and integrated hubs, to be part of the relevant multi and intermodal transport chains and to become preferred locations for the development of investments in industry.

CN APM SA Constanta will contribute to most of the activities provided in the project in order to achieve the established objectives, the most relevant involvement being the participation in the elaboration of studies in the field of container transport, digitalization, but will also coordinate the implementation of an Infrastructure Master Plan for the river cruise industry for facilitating the sustainable growth of this sector.

The project will also generate a set of port development plans along Danube, for the preparation of quality investment projects in order to access the next EU funding period - 2021-2027, thus having a significant impact on the regional economic development and making DIONYSUS a key tool for achieving the EUSDR specific objectives of transport and multimodality.
