Tarros upgrades its Med.-Atlantic loop

The La Spezia-based shipping company has added the Portuguese Leixões to the Great Pendulum Service (GPS), which now will be also served by five instead of four container ships.

The rotation in question covers the following ports - Genoa, La Spezia, and Salerno in Italy; the Greek Piraeus; Istanbul, Gebze, and Mersin in Turkey; the Syrian Latakia; the Lebanese Beirut; the Egyptian Alexandria; Casablanca in Morocco; and Leixões and Setubal in Portugal.

Each of the container carriers serving the route offers around 1,650 TEU of capacity.
