With 4.8 mln tn (+/-0% year-on-year), general cargo accounted for the bulk of freight handlings done by the Russian stevedore Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg.
Out of the total volume, ferrous metals totalled 2.7 mln tn (+23% yoy), non-ferrous - 1.1 mln tn (-7% yoy), and scrap metal - 415 thou. tn (-26% yoy).
Containerised freight traffic made 191 thou. tn/25,551 TEU (+50% yoy).
Handlings of ore, which previously accounted for approx. 10% of SPSP's overall turnover, were entirely transferred to another stevedore of the UCL Holding.
