With 199.61mt (+5.9% year-on-year), general cargo accounted for nearly half of the entire cargo traffic served by the country's ports.
Out of this number, containerised cargo totalled 142.94mt (+5.8%), wheeled (ro-ro) 45.56mt (+4.7% yoy), while the remaining 11.12mt (+11.4% yoy) was conventional (break-bulk).
The turnover of liquids and dry bulk amounted to 134.94mt (+1.2% yoy) and 74.95mt (+0.1% yoy), respectively, in the reported period.
A total of 9.84mt (+2.5% yoy) was handled under the "other cargo" category, including goods such as fish and bunker as well as any commodity shipped domestically.
