Port of Zeebrugge: 18.3 mln tn handled in H1 2017 (-5.7% yoy)

Ro-ro traffic amounted 7.3 mln tn in the reported period, up by 2.2% year-on-year.

New cars advanced as well, by 3.3% yoy to 1.4 mln units. On the contrary, container volume fell by 5% yoy to 7.3 mln tn, while dry bulk rose slightly to 733,965 tn (+1.2% yoy). Break-bulk noted a light drop by -0.4% yoy to 753,326 tn.  

Liquids decreased most, by 28.5% yoy to 2.2 mln tn, however LNG shipments went up by 54.5% to 659,045 tn.
