Containerised freight traffic totalled 23.73mt (+13.5% year-on-year) in the reported period, accounting for almost two-thirds of St. Petersburg's overall general cargo turnover (+12.1% yoy to 37.80mt).
With 8.51mt (+27.3% yoy) the handling of liquids (exclusively oil products) came in second, followed by 7.85mt of dry bulk (-4.3% yoy).
In total, the Russian seaport made 54.16mt (+11.4% yoy) over 2018's first 11 months.
Out of the almost 2.0m TEU figure, 242,672 were reefer containers (+14.7% yoy).
