Exports totalled 2.54 mln tn (+17.1% year-on-year) in the reported period, followed by 122 thou. tn of imports (-0.3% yoy), and 14.5 thou. tn made in transit traffic.

Grains was the commodity most traded in the Russian Black Sea Rostov-on-Don port from January to March 2017, totalling 888 thou. tn (+18.5% yoy). Crude oil and oil products came in second – 776 thou. tn (+24.2% yoy), and then coal and coke – 395 thou. tn (+230% yoy), other goods – 284 thou. tn (-6.8% yoy), liquid food – 162 thou. tn (+17.6% yoy), scrap metal – 91 thou. tn (+45.8% yoy), and general cargo – 74.6 thou. tn (+37.6% yoy).
