Port of Rostov-on-Don: 17.88 mln tn handled in I-X 2017 (+8.1% yoy)

The main cargo group handled within the reported period was oil and oil products, rising by 0.9% year-on-year to 6.78 mln tn.

The facility did 5.78 mln tn of grains (+14.0% yoy), and 1.93 mln tn of coal and coke (+57% yoy). As far as general cargo, Rostov-on-Don handled 0.44 mln tn (+8.0% yoy). In addition, the port did 0.41 mln tn of edible oil (+24.7% yoy). The volume of other good decreased by 11.6% yoy to 2.16 mln tn, while scrap metal dropped by 20.5% yoy to 0.69 mln tn.
