Overall, however, the Port of Antwerp took care of less cargo, down by 3.0% year-on-year to 56.72mt.
Both liquid and dry bulk contracted, by 8.6% yoy and 8.8% yoy, respectively, to 17.04mt and 3.15mt.
Break-bulk also noted a downtick, by 4.3% yoy down to 2.41mt.
On the other hand, wheeled (ro-ro) cargo traffic went up, by 3.2% yoy to 1.34mt.
Antwerp's finished vehicle logistics segment saw fewer cars going through the port's quays, a decrease by 3.8% yoy to a total of 311,608 cars.
