PD Ports awarded by RoSPA

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) has awarded the UK port group's health and safety standards with a Gold status.

Awarded Silver at last year's awards, PD Ports was recognised with Gold this year for its continued commitment to improving health and safety standards across all of the company's sites (Teesport, Hartlepool, Groveport, Immingham, Howden, Keadby, Isle of Wight, Felixstowe, Scunthorpe, Billingham, and Thames).

Through the introduction of behavioural safety training, over the last five years the so-called safety champions and site behavioural improvement plans have been implemented across the business to not only improve the standard of health and safety, but to help grow and evolve the culture of the business.
