The company's bunker vessel Coralius has performed ship-to-ship delivery of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Carnival Corporation's Costa Smeralda constructed at the Meyer Turku shipyard.

"Coralius allows us to perform ship-to-ship bunkering to different types of vessels. We are happy that this now includes a cruise ship. It is always a proud moment when we can deliver our product and make maritime transportation cleaner," Jacob Granqvist, Sales Director, LNG Marine, Gasum, commented on the occasion.

Costa Smerlada is a GT 183,900-big, 337 m-long, and 42 m-wide Excellence-class cruise ship, due for delivery by end-2019. She'll be able to take up to 5,224 passengers on-board.
