The company announced the reorganization of its SIRIUS service connecting the Mediterranean with the East Coast of South America, effective during the course of December 2019.
The service's new features will include the reduction from eight to seven vessels assigned to the route. The direct calls in Malaga and Buenos Aires will be dropped. Additionally, service for River Plate ports will be maintained by CMA CGM's sister company, MERCOSUL. Finally, exports from Paranagua will be opened up.
These changes will be effective as of m/v "MAERSK LOTA" departing Genoa on December 2nd, 2019.
