Baltic Sea region LNG cluster & LNG Competence Centre established

The ceremony of setting up took place on April 26th in Vilnius.

The event was marked by the presence of three Lithuanian officials: Mindaugas Sinkevičius, Minister of Economy, Rokas Masiulis, Minister of Transport and Communications, and Žygimantas Vaičiūnas, Minister of Energy, as well as the Polish Minister of Maritime Economy and Inland Navigation - Marek Gróbarczyk, and Ambassadors to Lithuania: Dag Malmer Halvorsen from Norway, Bert van der Lingen from the Netherlands, and Jarosław Czubiński from Poland.

The BSR LNG Cluster is a business organisation which includes national parties from Lithuania, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, and Poland. 

The organisation's aim is to strengthen and speed up further development of on- and offshore LNG innovations, technologies, and infrastructure across the Baltic Sea region.
