Overall, the Finnish seaport took care of 1.29mt over the 2020's first half (+12% year-on-year), out of which 1.24mt (+11.4% yoy) were made in international and the remaining 50.8kt (+28.6% yoy) in domestic traffic.
The Port of Turku also handled 1,886 TEUs in the reported period, an increase of 8.3% yoy.
On the other hand, considerably fewer passengers went through the port's quays because of the coronavirus pandemic, a drop of 60.6% yoy to altogether 563,250 people.
