The country's first cluster gathering companies involved in the Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) business was founded in Gdańsk on June 7th.

The Platform is a tool for intensifying efforts to develop and support the LNG market in Poland, with particular emphasis on the potential of gas for various applications, but also for lobbying in both national authorities and in the EU. On top of that, its goal is to strentghen cooperation between private business, scientists, and public administration.

The meeting was attended by Motus Foundation, as well as Barter, DNV GL Poland, Tines Gas, SGS Polska, Remontowa LNG Systems, Emerson Process Management, the Port of Gdynia Authority, the Maritime University of Szczecin, the Gdynia Maritime University, and Pawłowski Skromak Kancelaria Adwokatów i Radców Prawnych.

Besides establishing the Platform, the Board of Directors along with the Council was elected, as well as an action plan for the forthcoming year was approved.
