Maersk partners with IB Cargo

The two will jointly operate a new 75k m2-big distribution & logistics centre in Bucharest, set to come online by mid-2021, on behalf of IKEA Supply AG.

The new BREEAM-certified facility, located in the CTPark Bucharest West industrial park, will be used by IKEA Supply AG as their distribution centre for in- and outbound operations for stores in South Eastern Europe and Eastern Mediterranean.

This is in line with our strategy of providing integrated logistics solutions and we come with experience from similar projects for IKEA Supply AG in other countries," Sedef Ayhan, Managing Director, Eastern Mediterranean, Maersk, commented.
