“Mare Nostrum,” meaning “our sea,” was the Latin term for the Mediterranean Sea, an area in which trade has a long-standing history.
All big cities on its shores Marseilles, Genoa, Barcelona, Venice, Athens and Istanbul, to name the most famous, have a rich maritime past.
It seems that they have a promising future as well.
