The shipping company has put additional tonnage in its Gdynia-Karlskrona, Liepāja-Travemünde, and Frederikshavn-Gothenburg services.
The ro-pax Stena Nordica, which offers room for 450 passengers as well as 1,950 lane metres of cargo capacity, will shift from the Liepāja-Travemünde route to the Gdynia-Karlskrona connection. She will replace the ro-ro Gute and will sail five times per week in both directions as of September's end.
In mid-September, Stena Gothica (186 pax, 1,598 lm), which currently sails between Frederikshavn and Gothenburg, will return onto the Liepāja-Travemünde route. She'll be serving it together with her sister ship Urd.
Also in the middle of September, the Frederikshavn-Gothenburg connection will be reinforced by Hammerodde (400 pax, 1,538 lm), a ro-pax recently acquired by Stena Line from Færgen. In addition, the company's traffic to and from Denmark will move to the Port of Gothenburg's Masthuggskajen.
